Just a thought....Did you let your post office know that they would be recieving an order of chicks? If not, this may help next time. I am so sorry to hear this.

It's like you'll have to start all over. But do call the hatchery, they will make it right.

We just had ducklings from MM arrive this morning, and they are doing great! A little messy with their eating, but otherwise, great!

Oh man, I'm a member of that club too.

I ordered ducklings at the end of July, and we had a strange cold snap. They all arrived dead. I called MM and they had awesome customer service. They sent me more ducklings the following week and they are all still happy and healthy.

I had 11 die the first week from a virus last spring that I feel came with them from MM. Too bad for me.

My MM order of 50 red stars shipped on the 8th and were here in VT on the 9th. No losses, all are doing great. I hope you are able to get more chicks.

How awful. It happened to me last year. I ordered about 25 chicks from Ideal, and only 3 were alive when I picked them up. It was my first time ordering chicks through the mail. They did replace the entire order, but it was just horrible. It totally ruins your day, doesn't it?? So sorry for you....
