I'm picking up week old Toulouse goslings this Friday; give me last minute tips!

I'm going to pick the two up this afternoon, I can't wait i'm so excited...but I just wondered, obviously i'll have to go to bed at some point and leave them downstairs in their brooder alone - I suspect they'll be peeping away with worry that they've been left on their own but I assume its best to just leave them to it? I shouldn't be coddling them too much should I?

If you have a safe mirror you can put in with them that should help and a stuffed animal to cuddle up against. Can’t wait to see these goslings!!

I feel a bit bad about owning it but I do have a goose down stuffed pillow that I was thinking about opening up, would that work?

Now don’t go opening your pillow plus they may try an eat the feathers.. try an old sock with something soft stuffed inside like another sock or rice just tie off the end so they can’t get to the inside

Thanks, didn't think about them eating the feathers; I'm sure it wont be difficult to source a cuddly toy for them.

We have been home for approximately an hour.
