I'm Sending Feed to be Analyzed

Probably shouldn't post this on this site, I apologize in advance, but we have touched on many topics trying to understand why some are having issues with their egg production. I was beginning to be convinced that it is due to molting, weather, reduced daylight and not necessarily the feed. Then I watched "2.14.23 And We Know, Movie Predicts Ohio?" (Rumble) and I am back to conspiracy, again. LT compiles a lot of news stories from around the world. In the segment from Fox News, Tucker Carlson mentions reduced egg production. It is just a mention as he discusses more about sabotaged water treatment plants and train derailments. There is some very weird things going on in the world so why wouldn't they contaminate chicken feed since eggs are the perfect food. Probably not all feed that would be to obvious but some here and there. The mills could be adding whatever is sent to them without knowing the additives are tainted.

I don't mean to upset anyone but to inform and make aware so that we all stay healthy and keep our animals healthy. I am new to raising chickens. My four pullets and two cockerels are just 14 weeks so we are not producing eggs just yet. This thread has peaked my interest in chicken feed as I saw some folks on YouTube posting about mixing their own feed and I try to keep learning more about raising chickens. I am looking forward to the lab results and hoping for the best. I will keep an eye on my flock and if they act weird will definitely send in samples for analysis to one of the labs mentioned in this thread. Thank you to all the folks and their wonderful posts.

That was me.
Glyphosate toxicity is not associated with reduced rate of lay as any of its top symptoms.

Small study, reduced sperm motility
No variation in rate of lay (minor variation in other metrics, small study)
Compensation study
Fish

Glyphosate technical sheet

I'll grant its not well studied, but the limited studies so far show no significant association - and there is plenty of commercial, profit-related reason why even small changes in rate of lay could be significant, given allowed limits in glyphosate residues in common feed ingredients, corn, particularly. The lack of study suggests commercial producers aren't currently concerned at current residue limits.

That makes me feel better about skipping that test.

The "Health Ranger" or whatever he's calling himself, already did that test - looking for things he expected to find (reasonably). When (if ever) he releases the levels measured in his testing, we'll be able to compare against allowable limits and consider whether or no there is cause to delve deeper - but if a bunch of birds where glyphosate poisoned, I'd expect other symptoms we aren't hearing about before the rate of lay was significantly effected - PARTICULARLY over a many months time period.

That's my thought process tbh

I really wish he'd publish them.

I doubt he will, unless they fit the narrative. Expect he'll move to the next emergency instead, and expect most of his followers to move on with him - all too many seem ready to repeat his claims of someone else's unsourced reports without personal experience (or critical thinking) of their own.

Tell me about it *eyes BYC FB group* :he debunk their stuff and their rebuttal was "Hope you like pesticides with your food".
