Makes more sense to me the breeding time than molt time. When is the preferred time in the book?Something I noted in a book I begun rereading about breeding poultry is hens who go into molt in aug-sep were poor layers and shouldn't be bred. The original copy was published in 1910ssorta make you wonder.
This was in reference to breeding for egg production and how to tell good layers if you can't individually keep account how much each hen lays. Here what it says about breeding, so sounds like breed in spring with slightly older hens with younger cockerel and visa versaMakes more sense to me the breeding time than molt time. Oh man. I hate to see you spend this much cash on this. I feel like the back on forth on this isn’t worth it to have anyone in this community drop hard earned money on this. There are so many unknown variables in science it becomes endless. I understand if you do it but it makes my gut hurt to see you spend this.Ok. This will set me back about $500. I will have to decide if it's worth it after I spent $800 on my duckie yesterday. I will crunch some numbers and make a decision.
I agree, but I promised I would, so I will. A couple of folks have volunteered to help with cost, and the folks who sent the samples spent money on shipping. The guaranteed analysis and the mycotoxins will only cost about $120 - THAT I can do without much guilt.Oh man. I hate to see you spend this much cash on this. You are appreciated and should link a venmo account for us lolOk. I've decided to do the guaranteed analysis and the mycotoxins. Glyphosate is just too much.
