There’s been several train derailments lately. Seems to be happening more frequently. Didn’t used to hear about them but every once in a while.
Well they are getting ahead of us saying this letting everyone know it’s “normal”…..
Not sure why they aren’t trying to prevent it if it is normal?
So, here's a start. I don't think the guy in the video does keep chickens. Every experienced keeper know they stop laying.
Mine are doing as reasonably as expected.Covid Chickens,
My dad ran into someone today while in TSC getting me chicken vitamins while I was at the health clinic. She was asking him about the feed and how her *three* years old hens weren't laying in the winter. It's true that there have always been quite a number of derailments. The difference is instant media spreading photos and videos over the internet for what might have been page 6 local news in the paper or 3 minutes on the 11 o'clock TV news.
Large-scale derailments are relatively rare, but they happen periodically -- creating spills of various materials and, frequently, setting fires in the brush along the tracks.
My DH used to be a firefighter and considers allowing these chemicals to burn off quite normal -- the products of combustion are less toxic than the unburned chemicals AND trying to put them out injudiciously tends to kill firefighters.
Accidents happen.
Rail is MUCH safer transport for hazardous material than trucks, but no system on earth is ever perfect.
Maybe there is a need to crack down on some aspect of rail transport or maybe not. But no matter what you will never eliminate all accidents.
My theory for all the panic is that people's Covid Chickens, bought in 2020, are experiencing their second winter and vast numbers of people who have now had chickens for a couple years are, nonetheless, totally unprepared to cope with the idea that their "pets with benefits" do not retain their high production levels after the first season or two.
I think I would really like yourMy dad ran into someone today while in TSC getting me chicken vitamins while I was at the health clinic. She was asking him about the feed and how her *three* years old hens weren't laying in the winter.
Bless her heart my smart ass of a sire told her dead face that it was because the government wants us to eat bugs so that why the feed was having issues so there less hens to eat the bugsI apologize in advance if this conspiracy go crazier I know who to blame.
This sounds like something my DH would do.Bless her heart my smart ass of a sire told her dead face that it was because the government wants us to eat bugs so that why the feed was having issues so there less hens to eat the bugsI apologize in advance if this conspiracy go crazier I know who to blame.
I unfortunately need to keep him to fund my chickens. Somehow he hasn't gotten banned from walmart or a few stores in the college town over his smartnessI think I would really like yourdadsire.
If he sees a button he'll duct tape it down with glee. This sounds like something my DH would do.He makes me crazy sometimes.
