I'm setting my 5th batch of eggs today Feb 7th - will hatch February 28th - anyone with me?

Thanks. They are cute little buggers. out of the 29 eggs I think there are only 2 that haven't pip'd and they went in a day or 2 late.

Wow - that's good percentage of hatch - I'm just hoping for four since these were shipped eggs. I know I have one Ameraucana that hatched - I can see it's black fuzzy butt and legs under the broody's wing & I found it's shell sitting near her. Still waiting on all the others to hatch.

Here's the AM under the broody - noticed one of the Welsummers has pipped too! YEAH!

The Wellie hatched - but I can't get at it - Smokey is pressed down hard keeping everyone warm - so I will have to wait until tomorrow to see it dried off.

Sadly it looks like none of the bator chicks are hatching. Not sure what I did wrong.

Good work. I have 23 so far lost one during hatching. I worked on another bator today also here are a couple pics. Not sure how the pic got above the text.

Thanks bobbie. I am hoping to put three turners in it (can do 2 for sure) I still need to install the reptipro, electrical outlets for turners, shelfs, and get the poly on and door seal.

I don't think I will use my bator again after having used my broody. She is doing a great job! So far 2 Wellies and 1 AM! I saw her rotating another blue egg, so maybe more will hatch. The only part I don't like is I can't see the babies! Lol

Well, we're calling it quits - the bator eggs didn't hatch and Smokey hatched out 3 out of 8 eggs. Here's the write up on her. She's such a proud little momma.
