I can't believe how excited I am! It's so wonderful to walk down the garden and collect my beautiful, very fresh eggs from a warm pile of straw in my own chicken coop, rather than buy some off the shelf in a shop.

Brick even decorates them for me with beautiful, brown speckles!

So cool! Finding eggs has never lost it's appeal to me! Everytime I go to the nest box and find them there (sporadic right now!) I celebrate and I have had chickens for three years now!

I read on your blog about George. I hope to see a post from you in the spring that George has miraculously appeared.

Congrats on your first eggs! We got ours on New year's day, so it was pretty exciting.

I love finding eggs. When I was a kid, I'd use to look for eggs with my friends at Temple Newsam. That farm got enough of our business, let me tell ya.
