I'm so nervous about the council meeting

Hi everyone. I don't know the date yet, but I will be scheduled to speak at the Feb. council meeting. I'm going to be requesting a waiver for my ducks, and also applying for a permit for their run, a seperate issue. I have to hire a surveyer (100's of dollars!) to do a site survery since we do not have one already. What I am most nervous about is if my neighbors who have problems/complained will be there. If I have a bunch of people standing up speaking against me, I think I'll panic! And my daughter will be with me. The ducks are her babies, so she has to be there. <sigh> just wanted to vent. thanks for listening.

Do you have anyone that can go with you,.. friends,. family,. even just to sit there for moral support?

Well the best I can give you at the moment is a

. I would love to know the outcome of the meeting. I am sure that if you go in to the meeting with a well prepared statement, and even maybe a sheet with possible answers for questions, that you might feel more comfortable. Brainstorm with your daughter for all the possible things that a neighbor might say and write it down with your answer. That way you are not as surprised by a question, and you will have answer even if your mind goes blank for a minute.
