I'm so old I Remember when:

I remember we only had 1 small black and white tv. It was small enough that my dad took it with him whenever he went to work. We had no other TV at home. To some levels, that was a blessing because my brother and I went to the park, walked up the hill..etc.. the park was behind our house. Now my nephews glue their eyes to the ipad or phone.
Ow. How did they get their eyes out of their head?

My grandchildren, who are 5 and 8 are similarly enamored with their electronics. Thankfully my daughter and her husband are pretty firm in setting both time and content limits.

🤔 how do you know who "wins" and who "loses" a mud fight? :lau
My aim wasn't bad but let's put it this way, 1- he's an older brother. I'm a younger sister. 2- he grew to be just shy of 6'6" (2m). I stopped at 5'5 1/2" (1.7m).* I'll let you figure it out.

*That half inch was important to me. My sister (the oldest of the three of us) was JUST 5'5" even. 😂🤣😂 She wasn't much interested in snowball fights either let alone mud. Such a girly girl. She even carried a purse since childhood and wore makeup beginning in junior high school. 😯 She'd have worn nail polish, I'm sure, excepting she chewed her nails. 😄

This reminds me of a story from when I was little. My dad wanted to go for a bike ride and us triplets didn't want to go. We were young, it was in our old house so we were younger than 7 but I don't remember our exact age. Anyways, my dad told us to stick around the house and being the smartasses that we were, we grabbed Elmer's glue and glued ourselves to the house. Of course, it didn't work well but dad thought it was pretty funny when he came back home. He couldn't figure out what we were giggling about until he peeled us from the siding and saw the wet glue

Your dad was a brave man, putting up with three of you! 🤣
