Back in the day during Mardi Gras season while king cakes are being made was a bakery named Mckenzie's. It has since closed for a while now, probably 20 years. Every season I get me a few king cakes while I can. We'll a bakery names hubig's known for thier fried pies started making king cakes and word on the street is that they taste like the old Mckenzie cakes. Well I got one today to see. Although it was so Ling ago I probably wouldn't remember if it does lol

Dear gods, does it have to have so much food colouring??

I remember when food came in 'natural' colours and didn't have to be artificially enhanced.

Aww, c'mon, they're all still natural colors, "Spring Grass," "Daffodil," and "Midnight Sky." They're just heavily, artificially enhanced to get there!

I am so old I remember that entertainment was not at the shopping center, but at the park, the swimming pools, the cinema, friends' place, visit relatives, read a good book and I did not care if stuff were on sales. My dresser had 3 draws and that was all my clothes, school uniforms, best clothes, home clothes, and now I had load of clothes that I have not seen in years.
