I am so old I remember....I used to just have a landline phone and my parent did not have the need to talk to me during school time.

My 8 and 12 years old nephews each has a mobile phone, I asked their mother why they need it? She says so that she can talk to them anytime and via versa.

What so important that they must be contacted during school hours? My parents never had the need to

That's what I tell my son. The school has a phone, if we need to contact each other. I survived; he will, too.

I have not wear jean for many years now. I noticed some young people these days have legs straight all the way without thighs....I wonder what sort of food they eat?

My good old grandma passed away at 102 years young, she was skinny 35kg,but a big hip, she had so many falls and did not break her hips. She often tell me, her big hips cushioned her falls.

I never wear them either. I like leggings and have a pair in nearly every color and patterned ones for dress up.

The few pair of jeans I have, my mom, bless her heart, had bought for me at rummage sales. They are some name brand with elastic waist. I do like them though as they are very comfy and I just would wear a shirt or sweater to cover up the elastic so I don't look like some old lady. Oh wait, I am!

I don’t like it that the cats hunt the songbirds. We have so few songbirds nowadays because of the cats, but also because there are not enough insects anymore for certain songbirds.

We feed our songbirds sunflower seeds in feeders strung high in the trees so the bear can't get them. The chickens free range under those, as well as squirrels, chipmunks, and other birds. The two cats have learned it's a lot harder to catch a bird than a chipmunk, so they focus on the rodents. They mostly nap in the house during the day and hunt by night, so there are no birds around then.

Leggings are nice. I wear them often in winter under my dresses, they keep me warm.

Elastic waist is good, I prefer the leggins more.....I see my grey hair, and my knees tell me what the weather going to be today, so there is no doubt that I am .......

You made me think. I may have one skirt, but never wore with leggings. I just wear dressy tops with them if we're going out fancy.

I use a small crossover purse to hold my cell
if what I am wearing has no pockets or the pockets are too small when I walk to the laundry room, mailbox, dumpster

Only I was not back in October when I fell through this chair sitting on my patio and had to wait some minutes for someone to help me get out

The rotary wall phone in the kitchen with the 15 foot stretchy cord so you could go in the other room "for privacy"

I remember my first touch tone phone

What a shock

It still made the same noise the rotary dial made dialing out each number by clicking

Back then you had to pay the phone company extra if you wanted touch tone service

I remember when I was about 12 or 13 I wanted a fancy French telephone like the ones in the old movies

And everyone sounded like they were deep down in a well far far away
