I should have said, the little red string is not on any bandaids I have purchased in the last... 10? 20? 30? years.

I was keeping quiet because I don’t think I have any newly purchased bandaids!

A friend of us didn’t use any on his legs when he had a small wound. I think he didn't use spray either.
A few weeks later he got very sick.
His partner was alarmed bc he acted weird and went to the hospital emergency GP with him. He could stay without delay.
He was hospitalised for a week bc of a serious bacterial infection in his blood.

Last time I had a need to I did use bandages. I always clean off cuts too, and most of the time they are tiny (less than half a centimeter).

Now I'm remembering the time I walked into a chicken coop... ouch.

The second from the top I took with my phone like all the rest but came out really cool looking.i had poster burner on the internet to make a small poster size print of it so I can frame and put in my dining or living room.

So pretty...I miss Louisiana.

They don't come like that anymore, not the bandage I got, and yes, I too have not seen that red string in years...
