As a child I remember my grandmother getting milk and bread delivered to her. The Ice Man giving me a chip of ice off the ice block before he put it in the icebox. Also running out with a piece of cloth to give the Rag Man so I could pet his horse. Boy, I feel old!

I remember when gym shoes were just that. No pro athlete endorsed brands at jacked up prices. No one needed $100 shoes to be cool.

I remember my first favourite poem from school - I was just outside at he barn doing evening chores, chooks and horses are set for the night. Then I admired the moon and stars looking for northern lights. None to be seen but it reminded me of the poem.
