I'll eat whatever pretty much. I'm usually behind my wife a day or three on what we're eating cause I was taught to not waste food and at 48 I'm still like that. I'll be eating on leftovers while my wife not so much.

In the mid 60's I worked in the burbs of Detroit. When it warmed up in the summer the vending machine inside the plant was full of wormy chocolate bars. Evidently once they warmed up the wrappers worked like an incubator.

Once, same decade, I opened a chocolate almond bar, and it had 'worms', a really ugly sight!
And living overseas in the early 70's, at the end of a very long food chain, always opened packaged foods at arm's length, because of the critters often found inside... It was always interesting, anyway.
