I'm so old I Remember when:

I just had to read through like five pages again…how am I supposed to know if y’all are having an interesting conversation if I don’t get notified? I get some for threads I’m not remotely interested in (think new member forum) and the one I come to all the time will not update at all! :rant Rant over…:D
If you don't get caught up on a thread after getting an alert, you will not get another alert until after you get completely caught up.

If you go to your Watched Threads list, all the threads that you are not caught up on will be in bold.

So THAT's how that works! 😳

Everyone all caught up?
Okay.... back to the remembering.

Anyone else see "Jesus Christ, Superstar" when it was on Broadway? It was part of our class trip in like 7th or 8th grade. Early 70's.
Anyone? How about any Broadway musical from 'back in the day'?
I've never seen any Broadway musical. Just not my cup of tea

I've never been lucky enough to see anything on Broadway! Loved our little local theater though ❤️...and enjoyed Jesus Christ, Superstar on TV

I've only been to NYC once in my life, February 1973 for a "Star Trek" convention (selling tribbles & other Trek memorabilia for my boss/friend). We saw "The Wiz" on Broadway - pretty spectacular, especially the "Tornado" dance sequence when Dorothy gets whisked away to Oz. Other than that, New York in February was pretty miserable with all the re-frozen dirty ice & slush on the pavement - not the best time to appreciate the city. NYC was daunting even for an L.A. girl!

Living in LA for many years, I saw a lot of Broadway shows that were on national tours: Sweeney Todd, Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, The King & I, Zorba the Greek, A Chorus Line, etc. Dearly love big stage musicals! (Loved doing acting & costumes in community theater for many years, pre-kids. I met DH when we were in a small "guerrilla theater" production of "The Rocky Horror Show" in 1977; he was Eddie, I was Magenta. ) 🥰 😄
