Dad uses that as a term for leaving. "I've got to mosey now, later gators."

I would get told to turn the light off and then would crawl under the covers with a flashlight and my book.

Same! Still do, only now it's my phone, BYC, and it's internally lit!

I even uses the screws putting on metal panels on chicken coops.

I can't think of a use for nails where screws would not be superior. I hate nails!
