Exactly. I'm so old I can't remember what I searched for but ya that one time the results were not what I was expecting.

My father in law used to do model kits, like tanks and planes and boats. So when he got teh interwebs, his first search was for 'plastic models'.

I think the computer got thrown into a bathfull of hot soapy water.

Dodge Colt. There were a couple of different versions of the jingle. I'm embarrassed that I wrote out all that from memory... I guess it really made an impression on my nine-year-old brain!

I did my drivers' test in one of those!

I think it was in Popular Photography. I'm not sure. I read two photography magazines after getting my first 35mm Canon AE-1 camera. I can't even remember the name of the other magazine.

I remember when back in 1998 a story broke that a keeper of an elephant got pooped on and smothered to death. It was a fake story learned later but garnered a lot of sympathy for the poor guy until it was revealed there was no zoo where the story took place.

Wish I had kept mine. I don't even remember where it went now. I bought an Elan after the AE-1 for its quiet auto film advance and rewind. Better for shooting when you didn't want to be heard. Wedding or Wildlife.
