Once when I was a young teenager I was in choir with a gentleman who had just gotten a brand new Ford 150. Now the 1 looked like an I to me, so I said to the the man, "I really like your new Ford Fiso (pronounced Fee-so). He was completely confused for a minute. I still pronounce it that way...

They should rename it that. And make it look like a old car. I hate the look of the new ones.

I'm so old I remember when you could buy a bushel basket of fresh sweet corn for $3. I saw it a couple of days ago in a small town grocery store for $18 a dozen.

We did too when we had a one acre garden in MO. They we got some super sweet corn and sold that for a $1.50 a dozen. No one complained about the price when they tasted it. It was $6 a dozen in TN at he farmers markets a couple of years back.
