I remember as I put on my homeschool video in the morning of 9/11 I told my mom what movie are we watching….. I’ve never seen this plane in the twin towers. I was 13. Scarred for life mom told me I was lying.

I was at the college where I worked and they had just switched off class schedules for 911 right after plane 1 and we saw plane two hit live.

I have a very eclectic taste in music, I like "almost" everything. But Hank Williams, Merle Haggard, and George Jones will always be my top 3.

My mum had no electricity running water or bathrooms in her childhood home in Newfoundland, in 1965 she came to Toronto - electricity, water and bathrooms!

My grandmother had no phone, my mom would write her and let her know what’s up, got married, having baby, had baby, coming for a visit with baby.
