People iron jeans? Never heard of thatI'm so old I wore jeans that had been sun dried with pants stretchers used in them instead of being ironed.
My sister had one. I thought it was way cool.Has anyone ever driven a car with a push button transmission?
1968!!! My grandma LOVED the Tigers, and I remember her listening to the radio at night while she was in bed, chuckling to herself and saying, "oooo! Got him!" and "Gogogogogogogo!"I remember watching the World Series when the Detroit Tigers were down 3 games to 1 to the St. Louis Cardinals and came back to be World Champions that year.
My mom ironed everythingPeople iron jeans? Never heard of that
Before Permanent Press came out, everything got ironed and shirts got starch. My mom ironed everything
I have a push button start on my vehicle but it is inside on the console. Ones on the remote are not allowed on standard transmission cars and trucks and for good reason.I have a push button start on my ignition key. I can start it on a frigid morning and have it warm before going outside.
Then there was an earthquake in Oakland during the '89 Series. I'll be honest, most years , anymore anymore, I don't listen to much regular season baseball. My sister had one. I thought it was way cool.

A note not known widely about Andrew. He not only was a great athlete he was a great scholar too. I know a lot about the family that is oh so good but I'll let their privacy be respected.I'm so old I remember when baseball was fun to watch.... I don't watch it anymore. The only baseball I've seen in decades is some clips of Andrew McCutchen (Spelling) batting homers or making some good plays. He and I grew up in the same small town and I was privileged to take his photographs the night the high school retired his high school jersey.
