Amway is still a thing. The founders (Rich De Vos and Jay Van Andel) have passed, and the kids split it into 3 companies.

Those two names are plastered on a lot of buildings in Grand Rapids, MI. They made a crap ton of money, and put a lot of it back into the community.

I often pass by the Amway World Headquarters in Ada, Michigan.

After having lived in MI for several years we never made it to the UP. It's doubtful that will ever happen now. I would dearly love to return to visit family still living there. Both of our sons were born there. The cousins are scattered all over the USA now and a reunion would be great while at least one very aged aunt still lives in Troy. Memories.

I'm so old I remember the night we were traveling south on I-75 late on night when the sky lit up as bright as noon day. I don't remember now what caused it but it was really something to see. Romney was governor at the time.
