Some channels here in our more rural areas still do!I'm old enough to remember that TV stopped broadcasting at Midnight, ended with The National Anthem, and went to colored bars and white noise...

I remember A&W with the trays of our order delivered and hooked on the door window. And we got our root beer in a glass mug - still have a couple of those mugs8 track tapes and drive in restaurants (NOT Sonic)

I remember a show we had here called Tiny Talent Time; kids dancing and gymnastics they would compete for first place.Oh my, yes! The bubble machine... Both of my grandmothers were dedicated fans; the show always seemed to be on when we'd visit. Yet, their other two favorites were Roller Derby and "professional" wrestling!Never could figure that out about those two sweet old ladies...

YES! We had the same here in Ontario - it was preceded by Mutual of Omaha’s Wild KingdomeYes! That was the one night Mom would permit eating dinner on TV trays so we could all watch Wonderful World of Disney. (Not TV trays every week, but sometimes, and it was always a proper home-cooked meal.) So many animal-themed stories: "The Horse With the Flying Tail"; one where a family of raccoons got into someone's workshop and activated power tools [leading to disaster]; a desert coyote stowaway who ends up finding his way around a city...of course now they live in practically EVERY town & city in the U.S.!

Sunday afternoon and evening were always looked forward to - and yes I remember the movie ‘The horse with the flying tail’ - being horse mad I just had to watch anything ‘horse’.
Of course if I had known how much fun chickens were I would have got rid of my horses years ago! Being old and having had horses for some 40 years, I am over the romance of horses….
Right Truly?
