I'm so old I Remember when:

We do, but I'm very old fashioned for someone who's on the computer all the time and prefer to *see* what I'm buying in person. Especially clothing.
Well you're making things difficult 🤣
I used to be the same way. I wouldn't buy anything I couldn't see first but then I discovered now what I like to *see* is click, click, buy, boom its at my gate in a few days.

I do make exceptions for some things, but others no way.

Also, no credit card. ;) Simplifies things. People abuse those way too much.

I would much rather not deal with returns. The oriental sweatshops have odd ideas of sizing. Either an xl turns out to fit my barely pubescent niece, or a 12 becomes an xxl. And let's not duscuss shoes.

Love this!
I used to be awed by tornados and watching the one we had here May 3rd, 1999 that passed 5 blocks north of my house. Then we had one in 2013 that passed 2 blocks south of my house. A coworker was sheltering in a closet with her mother and toddler. A 2x4 came through the door and impaled her. That tornado also damaged 2 different schools including one where there were 2nd graders and their teachers sheltering in the basement. It flooded and a great number of those little ones drowned. Any reminder of tornados and schools still bring floods of tears.

I agree, I can buy the exact brand, style and size jeans online and when I get them it's no where near the same as the ones I already had that's supposed to be the same. At least the hair gel has been consistent
I had this problem with pants. 9 year old me loved one kind of pant. They changed it. It was way too small around the upper part. Way too small.

I've had to jump pant brands several times. I have finally found one I'm ok with, but I have had at least four pairs tear on me for no good reason.

I wear sweatpants. Problem solved.

The meme is a funny reminder how wimpy our society has become. I live in Ohio, I know how scary tornadoes can be. And as a lunch lady, I appreciate the pizza comment

I remember walking to school with the snowdrifts over my head, and walking in the street where the walks hadn't been shoveled, coming into school with the inside of my boots caked with snow. Now they shut down the schools for a couple inches. Same idea.

Many years ago my Dad was working for an international corporation. One of the centers was shut down because of "snow," or as my sister called it, "That wasn't snow, that was a heavy frost!" We had 4 feet of snow and everyone was told "Be careful coming in."

Dad sent out an e-mail to the entire company, saying that Memphis was being shut down in sympathy for our snow problems.

Didn't make him very popular with management.

In New Orleans, 1/4" of snow and we shut down.
Now, 12" of rain, no excuses.

Paladin "Have Gun Will Travel" Western starring Richard Boone (I think)
I think this old show would cause some kids to have nightmares now just because of the title. I still have memories of watching it with my grandfather who loved it so much. Some times he would pretend to draw and shoot with his finger playing the part of Paladin. I grandfather was about the age I am now....
