I remember when things weren't built to go obsolete the moment they came out of the box.

Oh yeah. I have a 15 year old computer. Obsolete, yes. Functional, and still gets the latest software? Also yes.

Windows 11? No. Windows 11 is a way to make ewaste.

This has gotten out of hand. I mean really badly. Now you just buy ish that doesn't work. Also affordable clothing has really taken a hit in quality and design.

Oh yeah. My pants. I had one pair tear in the middle (the worst by far), and several other tear at the knee. And they're some of the only ones that fit well.

I aim to wear out the clothes I have now, most of my town clothes are now my work clothes ‘cause those are too hole-y to wear. And spend all winter making some new ones to replace the town clothes, if that makes any sense.

It is actually is where I moved to in the country. I went into the ER once for what might have been heat stroke, and got to hear about the doctor's grandma in her 80s out there chainsawin wood in the middle of the summer, "so if she can any of us can".

Then my back gave way after doing some heavy lifting, and after I explain how this happens every so often, but they can never figure it out the doctor calls refers to me as... Nope I still don't believe my ears.

To hell with em. Guess I will walk it off now, sure as heck ain't paying for ridicule.
