I used to love to watch Gentle Ben on TV. He was a black bear.

The little boy was Clint Howard, Ron Howard's brother.

Grew up in Wisconsin, and went 'up north' every summer, either to the Hayward area, or near Eagle River. Wonderful!
And gym class was miserable, I was third string for softball, volleyball, and basketball. Can't stand all three...
But horse crazy, so did riding lessons, and still have horses, although I'm no longer riding. The ground gets harder every year!
