I'm so old I Remember when:

I've had insomnia since I was 13. I don't remember what it's like to sleep through the night.
It came in handy when I had newborn babies that woke up every 2 hours. That was pretty much my sleep pattern anyway.

My daughter had insomnia... and her son after her. We raised the boy. His dr gave him Clonidine 0.1 at bedtime and he was able to sleep. He opted to stop taking it in his teens and as far as I know he sleeps okay now.

No reflux, arthritis pain to spare even with prescription meds. I have sleep apnea and a CPAP machine I sleep with. Some nights very little apnea and some a whole lot. 9 events or more per hour.

I remember the old folks talking about sleeping problems long ago as a child and thinking this would never happen to me. I am now aware as to how wrong I was in that thinking.
Ye getting old sucks!

I am old enough to remember my gramma having sleep issues as a woman my age.

No, Moony's an outlaw. He just does what works. 😉 Right, Moony?
True.
Also my lack of facebooking keeps me at a disadvantage when it comes to learning from the chicken know pros.
I gotta old school live and learn.
