Ain't that the truthEverybody has a history.![]()
I remember when a farmer got one out on his farm. He got all the stations back then including the XXX stations until they found a way to block people with satellites I was told back then. I'm not sure that is true but he did get XXX feeds. I would think FCC might have gotten involved.Remember those big 10’ satellite dishes for TV ? Still have mine collecting moss an wasp nestsI see someone on here made an awesome coop out of two of them - looked like a space craft.
Now I have a small 2’ elliptical dish for satellite tv.
My dad took a home study coarse and built our first TV. It never had a case around it so we had to be extra careful around it.We had 3. ABC, PBS, and CBS. But you had to go outside and turn the antenna different directions depending on which channel you were trying to watch. Thinking about that, I can still hear my dad hollering for me to go turn the antenna![]()
Everyone was worried about Y2k.I remember pagers, the first flip phones, gas under $2 per gallon, Texaco gas stations, payphones, when the first DVDs came out, the 3D movie phase and when the year 2000 came.
