It’s a screenshot from a video clip I took with my phone, showing my June 14 hatchling “Junior” flying straight for my face from the roost. He was brooder-raised, and this was when he was just 8 weeks old.

Here is a lateral view; I thought about entering these in the Flappers & Flyers BYC contest, but the quality isn’t very good.

Pied guinea cockerel!
Since he’s the oldest male (and biggest bird altogether) in my flock, he likes to show everyone else he’s the boss.
His name is unfortunately fitting, which I didn’t recognize when I first chose it: his dad liked to mate any hen nearby and although he tidbitted proudly, he was a regularly a jerk to the other birds (charging them at random).
Although “Charles Lindbird” has been gone for 2 months already (!!), his legacy lives on in his oldest—minus the tidbitting. Lindy Jr. will need to pick up that skill soon.

An ox is any bovine who's trained to work, most often a steer, because bulls are too '
dangerous, and cows should be busy having calves. Most are started very young, in fact while being bottle fed sometimes, because it's easier to work with the little guys. Any dual purpose or dairy breed, the beef breeds are too bulky and will overheat, and more joint problems because of their weight/ bone ratio.
J & W were Milking Shorthorns, and on the large side of things. The biggest team I've seen were Aryshires, huge!
Small breeds like Dexters and Devons are popular too.

I remember when stores sold black and white tvs. Then video stores went out of business in my early teens. Video stores only had vhs' and you could rent vcrs.

TVs only came in black and white! And a little screen in a very big box, all vacuum tubes.
Radio was the thing.
The 'Golden Guernsey" dairy delivery truck, unhomogenized milk in glass bottles, delivered to the chute at the house. That cream on the top of the bottle, delicious!

Remember those big 10’ satellite dishes for TV ? Still have mine collecting moss an wasp nests I see someone on here made an awesome coop out of two of them - looked like a space craft.

Now I have a small 2’ elliptical dish for satellite tv.

I sealed one with waterfall sealant and turned it into a pond...it's been in my yard forever now ands never leaked or had any problems.
