Took a lot of years but I finally started using needle nose pliers to hold the nails that went into awkward places.

Every living thing starts dying the second it is born.
I remember when that was a known fact and there wasn't a blame game on everything we touch or consume. I remember when news was reported as an event and the reporter didn't try to make the news. I remember the way Chet Huntley and David Brinkley reported. Sure miss those guys.

I miss when news and leaders were expected to be honest and have high moral standards. If we learned they were less, they were out. Now we have so many news sources that only claim to be news, radio hosts that are all about anger and leaders who I hope my children never emulate.

But on the bright side, today the temperatures are perfect, my puppies in my lap, and I can hear my chickens making happy little clucks and chirrups .

Once you hit it the first time, thereafter you are watching your thumb to make sure you don't hit it again which in turn makes it become the target.

I'm so old I remember in shop class we had no power tools. I hated shop projects. I'd rather had home economic with the girls... Boy did they ever make good yeast rolls and the ones with cinnamon were oh so good.
