I have two of those! Inherited my Mom's... They go up every year on the curio cabinet and sideboard displays, though with my 3-year-old grandson staying here over Christmas, maybe I'll put them up out of climbing reach for a few years!
Oh, yes! Some of our neighbors had those when I was growing up in Georgia, the kids always wanting to turn on the color wheel when they had company. I thought it was interesting but kind of weird, my family being "real tree" traditionalists; at least those neighbors didn't have a problem with cats napping up in the branches like our next-door neighbors (also "real tree" folks) did!My Grandmother had a fake silver Christmas tree, with this color changing thingie, so the tree kept changing colors. Anyone remember those?
