Aaaaa! The trouble with tribblesI did so many school reports using our Time Life book collections, the Colliers encyclopedias, and my favorite, Dad's HUGE and ever-expanding hoard of National Geographics! [Hubs & I have amassed our own NatGeo hoard over time.] My parents always had lots of books around; they also had a bunch of Reader's Digest Condensed Books. (As an adult I was quite surprised what they'd "condensed out" of some of those novels when I read the original books!)
DH and I are severe biblioholics. We donated what felt like tons of books when we moved north, but somehow the ones we just HAD to bring with us have multiplied, filling all our (old & new) bookcases and even the smaller bedroom ("library annex"![]()
) in the ancient mobile home at the back of the property we use for storage/sewing room/beer & shine brewing kitchen. Kind of like "Star Trek" tribbles...

Oh, wow, hadn't thought of that in a loooong time! And the way America Online (AOL) constantly sent out freebee sample discs trying to get people to subscribe; wonder how many zillions went straight to the landfill like ours did?Who remembers Netscape?
