I'm so old I Remember when:

I was at least 10 when we got our first computer. I grew up outside also. Hide and go seek in the dark was our favorite. Simply remembering the good times on the computer too
I was a working adult before I saw my first computer. That didn’t stop us playing the snake game at work.

I played with Lotus 123 for DOS as a game. Then Paradox. Then DBase. Finally came Excel and MS Access along with SQL Server. Now I've forgotten most of it.

Who remembers the women folk making hand stitched quilts made from flour sacks?
At our church's Community Center, two of our ladies still make quilts to give away. Fabric is donated mostly. The quilts are simple patchwork squares tied in the middle with yarn. I started to say they are hand-stitched, but the give-aways are not. Until recently one of the ladies did hand-stitch quilts to sell. She gave us one for our wedding, it is hanging on our wall. She is beginning to suffer from dementia and no longer quilts, she is 89 years old. It's a sadness as this lovely art passes into history. ETA I'll post a pic later.
