I remember the Apple Brown Betty the lunchroom ladies made and sure wish I had a recipe like the one they made for us back in the 50's and 60's. I'm craving some now.

Turnabout's fair play. A bunch of us schoolgirls (maybe 4th or 5th grade?) used to look at the Sears catalog men's underwear section together, trying to figure out the mysteries of What Lies Beneath.i suspect there were men's outdoor facilities that had the lingerie pages used as wall paper.
If I remember correctly…The Ken dolls didn’t have anything underneath to hide, did they?Turnabout's fair play. A bunch of us schoolgirls (maybe 4th or 5th grade?) used to look at the Sears catalog men's underwear section together, trying to figure out the mysteries of What Lies Beneath.
Our Ken dolls were no help whatsoever. [Our group had no brothers or just baby/little ones, and weren't into the "I'll show you mine if you'll show me yours" game.]
Grocery stores won’t take the reuseable bags due to ‘contamination’ possibility. I could donate them to a thrift store but I bet they get tons already.Sometimes I forget to bring the reusable bags with me, but I'm trying to do better at remembering.
Rather than throwing away the reusable bags, you could donate them to a resale shop or even use them to bag up things to take to the resale shop.
I don't like to put heavy items in the paper bags...but I've just as much trouble with the plastic bags ripping as with paper bags.
I prefer the sturdy reusable bags with the rigid bottom. I can really pack those full! Less trips to make into the house. They are getting harder to find around here. Maybe because they last so long they don't need to be replaced soon enough? The only thing I don't like about them is they can't go in the washing machine.
THAT'S CREEPY! And I'm pretty jaded.…In Moony’s stall, who knows?
