It's that time of year that I've been seeing lots of dead skunks in the road, usually in pairs. Made me think of this old tune.

This was one of my older sister's first records, it was a 45. She also had Sugar Shack. We listened to these over and over again.

I was born in 1963 ... this song was played a lot through the 1970s in our house. Such a cool song, it reminds me of watching Gidget movies for some reason.

People can't afford to buy or make nice clothes these days!

More like they don’t want to! I personally know plenty of people who could afford to dress nice but they choose to wear everything but.

I miss a time before I was born... I love the 80s. The cars (especially Trans Ams like KITT), the freedom you had ( go out when you got home from school and not come home til dark) ..... everything. I wish I could've lived then.

I sometimes wished I could have grown up in the 50's or so. Just seemed like an awesome time. Although

The 80's were awesome. I wouldn't trade them for the world

They were, the late eighties to late 90s was great! I could still watch a marathon of Johnny quest.

And some of those rags they wear are designer that cost much.

Woo that's an actual song!?! We used to sing it as a 2-line ditty whenever we saw a dead skunk.

I spent a lot of time off school with asthma and loved it when Francis the talking Mule was the midday movie! Most of my school friends missed out on seeing these great movies.
