Macgyver is the only one who isn’t a ‘detective’

You got it!!! The other 3 are police. (McMillan was the comissioner, but still a cop)
MacGyver was a very resourceful and clever man who could fix anything, open anything, or get out of any situation using everyday objects, whatever was lying around or in his pockets, and his ability to think about solutions instead of problems and use Boy Scout skills and weird facts of science and how things work. I absolutely loved that show.

sorta related side note - At the base in in Mosul, my brother was known as MacGyver for having similar skills. Good man to have around under those circumstances. Also comes in handy on his very rural acreage now-a-days.
