"This Day in History: April 18 Paul Revere, a renowned silversmith, is better remembered as a folk hero of the American Revolution who this night in 1775 made a dramatic ride on horseback to warn Boston-area residents of an imminent attack by British troops."I remember when April 18th was almost a religious holiday for me.
Anybody know why?
Hint: historical dates are still very much on my radar, but not where I have to celebrate them!
Us old folk tend to forget thingsI was getting afraid y’all had forgotten about this thread!
Yeah, my family can’t even remember major historical dates. So I love asking everyone what happened on a given day. I vividly remember having pretend meetings with Paul Revere and the others while laying in bed at night when I was five."This Day in History: April 18 Paul Revere, a renowned silversmith, is better remembered as a folk hero of the American Revolution who this night in 1775 made a dramatic ride on horseback to warn Boston-area residents of an imminent attack by British troops."
