Started in the 60's and they're arguing over it still today. So far the only cancer caused from it has been in lab rats but maybe that's because they banned it.

Some people were allergic to it is what I remember from an allergist.

I remember the original carnation instant breakfast in chocolate that stuff was great! They make some stuff kinda like it today but it's just not the same.

I remember my mom recalling when there was a court battle going on to make it legal for oleo margarine to have yellow food coloring in it. It was only available in white once upon a time.

I grew up in the province of Quebec, and just across the river in Ontario margarine was white due to similar regulations. It was weird.

Nowadays I won't even touch margarine.

Discovering an allergy for peanuts is not difficult.
Discovering an allergy for colouring/ ingredients in processed food can be difficult.

I remember they introduced blue M&Ms, and took them out again a few years later.

I'm so old I remember when my mom used a sprinkle head fitted with a cork base that fit right into a 7up bottle. She used it to sprinkle water on shirts that she was ironing. Probably blue jeans too.
