I'm so old I Remember when:

In Europe (EU) they are working on a new law for products -> products have to live 10 years before getting broken or can be fixed / repaired until the age of 10.
Hope this will end the sale of minor products/ rubbish.
About time!

Back then companies were taking pride in providing quality products.

Today, quality is a foreign word and their interests focus only on the profit 🤑
Most modern companies think quality is using the cheapest trash available. I've had two Pixel 4's have their batteries puff up (AKA about to explode) and I've had to replace at least one HP laptop battery. All devices made in the last ten years. :barnie .

They seem to have some good ones. There's one for phones that now iPhones have to have USB-C instead of Lightning. I've heard rumors they're going to require manufacturers to make it easy to replace batteries.

Sadly all the software laws don't apply here, so Microsoft can still shove trash down our throats here.

Well, I have enough *eggs*!
My 3 girls have slowed down for the triple digit weather season. I'm only getting 1-2 per day ATM. The duck, OTOH, is still popping one out every morning. As long as production picks back up in time for egg nog all is well.
