My cousin Jeff used to pay no attention to whether it was on or off. This amazed me until he told me his barn boots were rubber and that insulated him from grounding the connection. Real life is the best school.

Yep, I had a lot of fun with insulated soles, my barefoot cousins would then grab my hand and too late realize that I was only a conduit.

I am in Australia, it was morning time over here when that happened. There was no sound from my desktop monitor, I just saw images of the event.

I remember when you didn't have to wait forever in line because someone wants to pay with their phone, and their phone isn't working, and there's only one register available.

I also remember when Whole Foods and other stores didn't have a scanner that allows you to pay with your handprint.

Pay with handprint? That is completely new to me. I have seen people pay it with their watch, standard now paying with the phone. Where has the world gone to?

Why bother when we have finger prints, facial recognition and retinas?
We are born ‘ready chipped’.
Just the technology to read our chips took a while catching up.

Now a day, thieves are stealing money from people that just answer their phone, open their email.

Open a bank account is done online, no need to walk into the bank.
My friend just recently got all her money stolen from a phone call she picked up. The caller told her he from the internet provider ..etc.. and she gave out her details. Long story short all her money stolen. Obviously she contacted various people, departments, banks..etc... to get her money back. They told her it gone and they can not do anything about it. She is in great distress.

So there, all these technologies are also causing a great deal of suffering.

One of my phones actually has iris recognition. It hurt my eyes when I tried it. Most new phones don't have enough space to provide that hardware in the bezel, so they all just use fingerprints.
