My rental car, an 2023 Highlander, automatically shuts off when you push the brake down all the way, and pulls you back onto the road if you cross the lane. Both are extremely annoying and unsafe features.

Fortunately this option can be over ridden in DW's and is.

And I thought it was bad here in California! There’s bad drivers but at least half the population uses turn signals.

Here in Jersey they use them it just means GET THE HELL OUT THE WAY I"M CHANGIN' LANES! They prove you can put 5 lbs of it into a 2 lb bag.

I do that now. When I get an impulse to organize myself I put things in a spot other then where they usually land. In effect, I actually plan, set up, and participate in my own scavenger hunt.

Same here, but it's more of a clean-up thing. I'm always putting things away in a "safe" place. The problem is that I am the one they're safest from!

2002 Chrysler Town and Country EX. It has its issues (like the power locks are garbage) but it's lasted, and hopefully will continue to last.
