Yes, free-HOLE-es, not fry-joles. And, tore-TEE-yahs, not tore-till-uz. My little SIL, years ago, could not get the Ls out of tortillas, the best she could do was "tore-tee-lee-yas." She tried so hard. Lol.

We mispronounce it on purpose sometimes. My Nana took some time to catch on to the joke.

We had a Zantigo's mexican fast food restaurant growing up - their green chili sauce was just this side of heaven! It was a one off place not a chain. They unfortunately went out of business but what fantastic food.

Yeah, I wouldn’t want to be a kid today either. There are times when I actually find it better to be closer to the end then the beginning.
