Maybe bc the keyboard operating system is slighly different. Maybe because you have an old phone who cant update anymore while mine does.

Plastic straws became popular in the 1960s. I remember when paper straws were the norm but I grew up outside the US so we probably were later to adopt plastic.I'm not old enough I guess to have seen the original paper straws.
