Wealthy people don't generally stay wealthy if they spend it all. Just ask the fools who blew their lottery winnings in just a few years!I hear tell Warren Buffet and his wife still live in their first home as well.
Yep. The lovely old beast is nearly paid off. I tell my kids that the only way I'm coming out of it is "feet first!"$71,900 in ‘92 for a 1456 sq.ft. rancher in the county with three BR and two bath on 1.25 acres, with great well water. Current plan is to die here.

Every once in a while I'll have fun with the phone calls. "Why hello, thank you for calling. How are you today? Wait, do I know you? Where'd you go to school? Staying out of the weather? Was Santa good to you this year? Where are you going on vacation? I need ideas. Hey, have you ever been to ___? Do you have any recommendations on a good Italian restaurant up your end of town? My favorite is closed for the month because the owners went back to the old country to visit family. Well it was good chatting with you. Have a great rest of today, okay?"I feel your pain.
Lol, I've done that sort of thing. Sometimes you just have to have a sense of humor about these things.Every once in a while I'll have fun with the phone calls. "Why hello, thank you for calling. Never let them get to the reason they called and block the number after hanging up so they don't call again. But I must admit, I usually just hit the decline call button. Ain't nobody got time for that .
I must say they do make me laugh.Ever notice how the potential side effects listed on the ever present drug commercials are nearly as bad,or worse, then what the dope is intended to help? And, how are you suppose to know you’re allergic to it without taking the drug first? AND, why do antidepressants have a potential side effect of depression???
