I didn't love that one of the toilets in my house got soft close. I got used to it but never really liked it. Then it broke. Not the lid or seat, just the soft close. The soft close toilet lid is awesome!
But be aware... You'll go to a friend's house, use the facilities, and drop the toilet lid, making a loud noise.
How do I know this? Trust me, I know this.
I have one of these but it's empty. It's too humid here, the sugar clumps up into a stubborn mass. Salt does too, actually, even when I put rice in the shakers, but I can beat it into submission without breaking anything. The sugar dispenser ... is just ornamental now.Sugar dispenser

I remember that they used to put a cracker in the bottom to absorb the moisture. Of course they didn't stay full long enough for the sugar to clump.I have one of these but it's empty. I used a similar sugar dispenser for several years. It was only for a few guests who put sugar in their tea or coffee. After several months the sugar clumps up here too. Now I use cane sugar clumps who are already clumped in cubes.I have one of these but it's empty. It's too humid here, the sugar clumps up into a stubborn mass. It's cheaper if you buy the big bags.We call that sugar cubes too! I cannot use sugar now so I use Truvia, it comes in little packets.
I do, I do. Not with our son - he never did much homework just slid by on his innate abilities (very smart person). But our daughter was another story - type A and self driven. Pressure was on us not her. Not much has changed as they have matured. For those of us well past the child rearing years, do you remember these times?
Made by a bunch of third-graders and sold at the school's Christmas Bazaar! Can't do that, anymore!
