I'm so old I Remember when:

Yes, that was The Mary Tyler Moore Show. Chuckles the Clown was dressed up like a peanut (IIRC) and was trampled by an elephant. Everyone thought it was funny, except Mary. Then, at the funeral, she gets a fit of the giggles as they talk about it, and is trying to hold them in. The Officiant (if that's the right word) told her to go ahead and laugh, as that is what Chuckles would have wanted. Then she bursts into tears.

I heard that they script was just a bit short, but they didn't need to worry: the characters were laughing so hard that that filled in the needed minute or two.
Thank you.

I watched an old movie last night and the people in the movie got their plane tickets in paper....... a folded nice piece paper with their names, and flight details on it.

NOW, no paper ticket anymore, everything is through the phone.

I remember that whenever we want to flight somewhere or go on a holiday we go to the travel agency on Saturday morning, queue up for our turn to book a flight or a holiday destination.

NOW, just do it yourself online.

No human contact anymore.

I am old, not yet so fossil kind of old, but the world is changing so very fast these last few decades with technology, so fast that my head spin.

Remember those days milk delivery and paper delivery? No more milk delivery. Paper delivery???? I have not seen it for so long now.
