I can remember getting Indian head pennies for change.

I remember when I was a cashier back in the early eighties

Blue penny
buffalo nickels mercury dimes and other older coins
Even some real silver coins

Silver certificate written on the paper money or red writing on the paper money

I was young and thought a lot of it was fake so I would ask the pharmacist if it would be real money

It says steel.

"In 1943, due to copper shortages during World War II, the U.S. Mint produced pennies made of zinc-coated steel, not the traditional copper alloy, to conserve copper for the war effort."

Speaking of magnets. I remember when Mainframe computers would fill a room and had air conditioning just for them.... Being it is to late to prosecute another family member he had this sordid desire to take a heli with a giant magnet and hover over the IRS building..... Yup that would break a few big computers... At least he thought so. He didn't have money for the magnet much less the heli....

Speaking of magnets

I remember we had a CB radio in the car with a magnetic antenna hooked on the trunk of the car

We went on vacation and my mom had her purse in the trunk
525 miles from home and she goes to use her credit card(s)

None of them worked anymore
