Even with pockets, my cell phone often lives on the bedside table. I don't need it with me 24/7. I'll take it with me when running errands so when, for instance, I see something on sale at the grocery that gives me a meal idea, I can call the house and ask if we have what else we need to make it.I use a small crossover purse to hold my cell

I miss my tiny Nokia. Still have several of them but I gather they no longer connect to modern phone networks.I miss my old Pixel 4. It was literally perfect in terms of size, fit in my pocket, and everything. Then the batteries kept going bad, so... I did try and fix it but I didn't want to waste money fixing something that would probably bust again.
I think it has to do with iPhone being meant to be used vertically only.I think we got the SE 2022. It took some finger retraining to switch from the off button being on the top to being on the side.
One thing they need to do... have an option to "lock horizontal." If you can lock the screen to always be oriented vertically, why not the other way? The keyboard buttons are a bit bigger for us old people who don't have nimble little thumbs.
