For the very first time I got a text message on my mobile phone from my bank saying I got this deposit in my account. I went to my bank asked them did they send it? There was only 1 teller and she told me if the account number mentioned in the text message is correct, then it is from the bank.

I told her, you need to tell me definitively did this bank send it or NOT? As I have never ever receive a text from my bank before. Then she says she does not know about bank sending text messages, to get the answer I must talk to online banking. I told her I am here at the bank, tell me now. She told me she does not know at all, these sort of information can only be available with online banking.

I am so old...really old because I used to talk to the bank and they can tell me whatever I want to know. The bank now reducing their physically branches and moving all businesses online. The teller at the branch has minimal knowledge.

They are all the same. Early this year all the banks stated that they will fade out hard cold cash and use bank card only. It was a big and loud objection from the people and the government told the bank they are not allow to do that, so it was the end of it.

I see more and more people pay from having their phone tab on the little banking machine at the check out now. They don't even use bankcard.

CRTs will still work, but you'll have to find something to get the digital antenna to work with it. If it doesn't have VGA or DVI, you'd have to find a adapter to plug into its composite or SVIDEO port.

I bet you could entertain yourself for hours with a can of alphabet soup.
