I remember where I was standing and what I was doing when the announcement that JFK had been assassinated.

I was a senior in high school. The Principal announced we were to return to homeroom immediately, I was in a class called "Problems in Democracy". My two friends and I cried as we walked home.

I was 4 years old, mom put me in front of the B&W boob tube, as we called it....she told me that history was being made at right that instant...I just remember the screen going blank for a few minutes then Walter Conkrite coming on and saying the President was dead...didn't register with me at the time, though!
