I'm so old I Remember when:

When I was a kid there were only FIVE dinosaurs: tyrannosaurus, brontosaurus, stegosaurus, triceratops, and pterodactyls (I know there were technically more than that but those were the only ones that got talked about). They were were all plain gray without colors, spots, stripes or feathers. Dinosaurs have gotten really weird over my lifetime.

Now they're finding new species from fossilized throwup:

"New pterosaur species discovered in previously overlooked specimen of dinosaur regurgitalite."
I went to the natural history museum in LA recently and they have lots of dino stuff there.

That's where I learned about them! I need to go back and see what they have now.

Disneyland even painted the animated dinosaurs you see on their train ride with colored spots and stripes. They were just gray in my youth.

It's worth it if you haven't been there since covid. I took plenty of photos, I need to go through them and see what's worth posting. If you go down there for that, go to the Griffith Observatory as well while you're at it. Worth the traffic.

I did notice the Griffith seemed smaller and dustier than I remembered it being. I suppose that's what happens when it's been 8+ years since you've been there.

So everyone thought dinos were just gray? That sounds boring.

Some places are already having issues with not having pennies.

@nuthatched I'm selling my 2012 penny for $100, no lowballs, I know what I've got, cleaned in coke before you get it so it's shiny.
I searched for penny and sorted by "highest". Not sure if it's worth that much but maybe I'll make them an offer for $00.01 and 9/10ths of a cent.

When my son was younger, he wanted to be a paleontologist. Needless to say, everything was dinosaurs. We became quite the experts. I think it's funny how scientists today say that some dinos had feathers or stripes when, not that long ago, all dinos were green or gray. Just wait about 10 more years, more will come out and science will, once again, prove itself wrong

The U.S. Mint stops minting pennies today. New pennies will be a thing of the past.
I bought $10 worth months ago. So blame me for some of the shortage. :old But when TSHTF, and everyone is running around carrying their treasures to sell, lamps, statues, paintings, pianos, children, anything they can get their hands on, remember me, I'll walk down to the local moneychangers with a penny or two in my pocket and walk away with the equivalent of two or three thousand dollars. :bun
